Term Limits

While democracy should be highly valued and appreciated, there are some safeguards which should be in place to avoid any manipulation by a small group or party to circumvent or heavily influence the will of the people.

Blanket, small term limits are important to help prevent any group from easily becoming too powerful.

This would of course be heavily chided by any establishment, and could also slow down some potential aspects of government, but government shouldn't be too powerful or involved in controlling the populace either; and term limits allow for fresh, new, and potentially uncorrupted influence.
