Which is Cheaper?

A) For the federal government to est. a system for a small number of needy families, providing a minimal allowance to help with the purchasing of basic needs (food, shelter, etc.) for themselves and their children;

or

B) For the federal government to fund a system set up to recruit individuals, train them, house them, feed them, transport them, pay them, send them overseas, provide them weapons and armor, fund and transport fortified tanks and vehicles which also require constant funding to operate, have them demolish whole cities and neighborhoods; Then allow for a company to bid any amount they wish to go back in and rebuild everything.

Fiscal year 2007 (Federal)
Military budget: $699 Billion.
Welfare and unemployment: $367 billion

If we continue destroying things faster than we help them back up, somebody's going to be left at the top without anyone to contest it.
