Freewill or Fate?

What if change is prevented by ignorance?

Not from lack of problem-recognition, but from lack of knowledge on a better alternative.

The will is there, but there's no known or understood better way of doing things.

well, heres a situation. you are walking and come upon two doors, one of which you must open and walk through. lets say that you do not know anything about them. then, youll pick a door randomly. but what if you knew that one door led to your death? you would pick the other one. and if given the same choice again, youd always choose the door that prevented your death. in this case, knowledge produces the same result with no changes. ignorance produces variety. you can choose between both doors. you can live or you can die. knowledge limits you to one choice only.

While i do feel that the door scenario over-simplifies the concept a bit, I'm in awe at the knowledge limits you to one choice idea. Accepting that knowledge is 'universal' a person guided by their knowledge would only choose an outcome based on their preference, bias, ect., thus limiting them to only one choice. I'll think some more on it.
