I personally feel it's an injustice for any credit (on thoughts, ideas, work, etc) to be given to one person. Certainly these same feelings have been felt by at least a few other people, with the only exception being an un-equivocal status of fame and recognition.
Probably, it's because of many previous events that led to my current observations and/or feelings.
It could be genetics, influences, predisposition, etc.
But I digress,
No quote is ever quite as original as the first time it's heard.
